August 11-15 New Orleans, Louisiana

64th Biennial Conference

Celebrate Louisiana

Louisiana is excited for your arrival!!!!! In 2005, delegates and their guests came to New Orleans for a memorable Biennial Conference. You were able to fellowship, do the business of the order, enjoy the hospitality of Louisiana, and experience New Orleans. Tragically, a little more than a week later WE were forever changed when Hurricane Katrina made landfall.

Our members in Louisiana saw devastation like never before and with our Brothers and Sisters across this country, we experienced true friendship of the Order. We were greatly humbled by the donations that poured in from across this country that was given from the heart to help support OUR members in Louisiana.

So, now you return to the Crescent City, bigger, brighter and better than ever. Enjoy the culture, food, nightlife and be part of the 300-year old Celebration that is New Orleans.

Your brothers and sisters in the Louisiana FOP look forward to your arrival to our 300 year old city. We are honored to host the 64th Biennial Conference and put together a collection of events that will make your visit to the “Big Easy” a memorable one. We are throwing a party like nowhere else in the world.

New Orleans is one of America's most unique cities, with a vibe you simply can't find anywhere else. Known the world over for jazz music, Cajun cuisine, and outrageous Mardi Gras celebrations, the city is a melting pot of cultures with a diversity that is reflected in everything from the music and food to the language and architecture.

We are now less than a year away from the National Conference in New Orleans. To assist you in getting the most out of your visit, we have prepared this Conference Users Guide to showcase all Louisiana has to offer.

If you have questions or if I can assist you in your planning, don’t hesitate in contacting me.

Morial Convention Center

With 1.1 million square feet of continuous exhibit space, New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center is the sixth largest convention facility in the nation, and it consistently ranks in the country’s top ten facilities that hold the most conventions and tradeshows annually.

Once the meetings are over, the city’s renowned restaurants and music clubs are a great way for visitors to relax and have some fun. The world-famous attractions of the French Quarter lay just steps away from the convention center, while the historic St. Charles streetcar line runs past the elegant homes of the Garden District. The excitement of New Orleans transforms an obligatory business trip into an unexpected experience.
